In celebration of National Kids Day (Aug. 7), the Odessa Family YMCA Chief Executive Officer/President Mitch Gerig gave out safety helmets to kids Aug. 8 at the Ruben Pier Memorial Park, located at Sherwood Park. The helmets were donated by the Tony Hawk Foundation for the Odessa community and its skaters. The Y provides co-ed youth programs for all ages: basketball, tee-ball, flag football, tackle football, soccer, lil pom pom and childcare from 6:30 am to 1 a.m. for parents working or going to school.

The Odessa Family Y swim lessons are designed to ensure the student's safety, provide the student with regular progressive success, and make the learning process more enjoyable. Our emphasis is on fun while learning!

Preschool: ages 4 and 5
Youth: 6 and Up
WHAT?
Tuesdays and Thursdays
Preschool lessons 6:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Youth lessons 7:10 pm - 7:40 pm
There are 8 lessons per session. Sessions are:
September 20th - October 13th
October 18th - November 10th

Leave the hard part to us & have your child's birthday party at the YMCA!
YMCA and/or American Red Cross certified lifeguards on duty at all times in our heated swimming pool.
$60.00 per additional hour | A host will be present to assist you with your party plans. | You must supply cake, ice cream, punch, etc. Odessa Family Y offers great ways to help you celebrate your special occasoions while providing safe & fun facilities for your events.
